Product Details
The Compas desk by Jean Prouvé takes its name from the aesthetic of the slender metal legs, reminiscent of a compass. Paired with the oiled solid wood top, they create a striking contrast of materials. The top can be made in natural oiled solid oak, dark-stained and lacquered solid oak, or oiled solid American walnut. The base is made of steel and is available in six different powder-coated colors. The desk is offered in depths of 60 and 70 cm, and it is possible to have the frame painted in two different colors. The price refers to the version available for immediate delivery, with a red base and dark oak top.

Jean Prouvé
Born in Paris in 1901, Jean Prouvé was an architect, designer, and engineer. His vision redefined the approach to design by connecting architecture, engineering, and industrial design through a highly constructive method. Prouvé transferred the principles of industrial production to architecture and furniture, integrating artisanal know-how with modern technologies. In his work, form derives directly from structure, material efficiency, and function, placing utility and constructive logic at the center of the design process.
