Bořek Šípek
Born in Prague in 1940, Bořek Šípek approached objects as a field for formal and material experimentation. In his work, design becomes a space of contamination between craftsmanship, technique, and imagination, with particular attention to glass and decorative materials. Šípek conceived design as a space for expressive freedom, where function and ornament coexist, creating objects that transcend industrial neutrality to assert a strong, distinctive presence in the domestic environment.
