Antoni Gaudí was one of the most singular and radical figures in architecture between the 19th and 20th centuries, developing a design language that transcends the boundaries between art, architecture, and design. Born in Reus, Spain, in 1852, his work is rooted in an organic conception of form, inspired by natural processes, materials, and artisanal construction. In the furnishings and objects he designed for Casa Calvet, Gaudí applied these principles at a domestic scale, creating furniture and functional elements as a coherent extension of the architecture.
