The scene includes trees, clouds, and a pavilion, recurring elements in Chinese art that evoke harmony with nature and contemplation. The frame has a double border: an inner band with a meander pattern and an outer band with repeating geometric designs, creating a balance between naturalistic symbolism and abstract decoration. Woven in wool with vegetable dyes typical of early 20th-century Peking production, it showcases Chinese craftsmanship in combining narrative and textile mastery in a single work.
