Delivery & Returns
DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery costs are payable by the Customer. Products purchased on design-club.it can be delivered throughout Italy, including the Republic of San Marino and Vatican City, and to countries within the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, by express courier, specialist carrier or personnel of Raffaello Biagetti S.r.l., hereinafter referred to as “Design Club”. Deliveries are made on working days only, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
You can choose between one of the following delivery options:
1) Direct Collection
You can select “direct collection” from our warehouse at Via Caprera 40, 48123 Ravenna (RA), Italy. If you wish to do so, select the “collect from store” option when completing your purchase. This will remove the transport and delivery costs.
The Products will be handed over to the person named in the purchase order, who must present a printed copy of the order form sent by design-club.it by email when the order was placed.
2) Standard Delivery
Delivery by courier, specialist carrier or Design Club personnel. Delivery is made exclusively to street level, in front of the address indicated in the order form, provided that it is accessible by transport vehicles. It does not include porterage to the floor of the home or office, assembly, or disposal of packaging.
The cost is calculated automatically when the online order is completed, based on weight, volume and destination.

Standard packaging for shipments consists of bubble wrap and/or film and a cardboard box, depending on the Product purchased. Special packaging in a wooden crate can be provided on request at the time of order, on the understanding that this is non-standard packaging and will involve additional costs. Design Club will provide a quotation for any wooden crate required, which the Customer may either accept, covering the amount indicated, or choose to proceed with standard packaging.
DELIVERY TIMES
Products are delivered by express courier within 5 working days in Italy and within 10 working days in Europe, calculated from the day after receipt of payment. For further information on payment times, please see the “Payments and Refunds” section. Delivery times are also subject to Product availability.
The availability time for each Product is indicated on its Product page at the time of order. The standard shipping times or specialist courier delivery times indicated above must then be added, depending on the destination and the size of the order.
Where an order contains items with different delivery times, the delivery time for the order shall correspond to the longest delivery time among the items ordered.
For example, a Product that is not in stock and has an availability time of 2–3 weeks will be available at our warehouse within a maximum of 3 weeks from order confirmation. From the arrival of the goods at the warehouse, standard shipping times will then be calculated, with delivery within 5 working days in Italy and 10 working days in Europe.
Any delivery delays of less than 30 (thirty) days shall not entitle the Customer to refuse delivery of the Products, nor to claim any compensation or indemnity.
ADVANCE NOTICE
Before delivery, you will be contacted by telephone or email by the appointed delivery provider, who will inform you of the delivery date. It is therefore very important that, when completing the online order, you also provide a telephone number, preferably a mobile number, so that you can be reached easily.
RECEIPT OF PRODUCTS
Upon receipt of the goods, it is important to:
check that the number of packages delivered corresponds to the number indicated on the transport document, hereinafter the “DDT”;
check the condition of the packaging and of the Products contained within it. If the packaging is visibly damaged, before signing the DDT you must write the following wording in the appropriate space: “accepted with reservation – damaged packaging ………..”. For further information, please see the “Returns” section;
in the case of standard delivery, for heavy and bulky Products, for example sofas, beds, armchairs or storage furniture, you should ensure that at least one other person is present with you to help receive the goods.
All shipments are covered by insurance. Please have your order number ready when you contact us as we will need it to correctly track your purchase.
RETURNS
Not satisfied with your purchase?
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase of the Products, without any penalty and without giving a reason, within fourteen (14) working days from the day on which you receive the Products.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal by sending, within the above-mentioned period, a written “Notice of Withdrawal” to Design Club’s legal address in one of the following ways:
1) by registered letter with return receipt to:

provided that the Notice of Withdrawal is addressed to Raffaello Biagetti S.r.l., Via Caprera 42, 48123 Ravenna (RA), Italy.
When Design Club receives the Notice of Withdrawal:
a) You are required to return each Product purchased to our warehouse at Via Caprera 40, 48123 Ravenna (RA), Italy, at your own expense and using a courier of your choice appointed directly by you, within fourteen working days from the date on which you received each Product purchased.
In this case, you, the Customer, are responsible for the loss of or damage to the Product until the Products are delivered to our warehouse. For the purposes of meeting the deadline, the Product shall be deemed to have been returned when it is handed over to the courier appointed to return the Product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, the Product must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was delivered by Design Club to the address indicated in the purchase order form, including its original packaging and all accompanying documentation, such as the Product’s certificate of origin.
The only costs payable by you in exercising the right of withdrawal are the direct costs of returning the Product to Design Club.
b) If the right of withdrawal is exercised in accordance with the provisions of this section, Design Club is required only to refund the amount paid by the Customer for the purchase of the Product. Shipping and delivery costs will not be refunded.
Design Club will process the refund free of charge, as soon as possible and in any event within thirty days from the date on which it is made aware of your Notice of Withdrawal.
The refund will be considered on time if the amount is credited back to you before the above-mentioned deadline expires.
DAMAGED PRODUCTS
Has the Product you ordered arrived damaged?
If the packaging is visibly damaged, you must immediately raise this with the courier or carrier, indicating in the “notes” section of the transport document (DDT): “accepted with reservation – damaged packaging [specifying the affected part]”.
Once the packaging has been removed, if the Product is in fact damaged, you must photograph the Product, make a copy of the transport document (DDT) containing the wording “accepted with reservation – damaged packaging”, indicate the order number and send everything within 48 hours from the time you received the Products in one of the following ways:
1) by registered letter with return receipt to:

CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS
The right of withdrawal may not be exercised where the Products purchased have been made “to measure” — that is, made especially to order with specific sizes, finishes or materials — or according to the Customer’s specific requirements.
