Ettore Sottsass
Ettore Sottsass, architect and designer behind cult pieces, is internationally regarded as the most influential and celebrated representative of Italian design, if not a legend. So much so that the MET, the Centre Pompidou, and the Design Museum in London have dedicated numerous monographic exhibitions to him over the years. And that's without even considering all the objects he designed that have furnished and continue to furnish designer homes and the homes of figures as iconic as him: Pedro Almodovar, Bret Easton Ellis, David Bowie, and Karl Lagerfeld.
