Pierre Paulin
Pierre Paulin (1927–2009) was an influential French designer renowned for his modernist and innovative furniture, characterized by organic lines, bold colors, and materials such as stretch fabrics over metal frames. His work redefined modern living and left a lasting impact on 20th-century design. Originally trained as a sculptor, Paulin was forced to abandon his artistic career due to an injury, yet he became a pioneer of form and functionality, collaborating with companies like Thonet and Artifort and furnishing the private apartments of President Pompidou at the Élysée Palace.
