Mario Ceroli
Mario Ceroli, born in Castel Frentano in 1938, is an Italian artist whose work spans sculpture, painting, drawing, furniture, installations and stage design. Trained in Rome under artists including Leoncillo Leonardi, Pericle Fazzini and Ettore Colla, he has explored materials ranging from wood and ceramics to bronze, ice, paper and fabric. His work often blurs the boundary between sculpture and image, object and space.
