Product Details

Cabinet designed by Eileen Gray, 1925.
Authorized reproduction in a limited edition of 25, exclusive to ClassiCon Munich.

Designed as a functional work cabinet for instruments, documents and drawings, the Cabinet d’Architecte brings an impressive range of features into a single volume: drawers of different sizes, sliding and tilting compartments, a vertical section for rolls, two small storage cabinets and a fold-down writing surface. Made from maple-veneered MDF, it reflects the functional precision and volumetric research that shaped Eileen Gray’s early work. Only two examples of the original 1925 design were produced, one for Gray’s apartment on rue Bonaparte in Paris and one for the architect Henri Pacon. This piece is number 12 from the now sold-out limited edition of 25.
