Pair of tables designed by Eileen Gray, 1927. ClassiCon edition.
With their chromed tubular steel frames and circular glass tops, the E 1027 tables have a clean, precise structure. Each table is adjustable in height through an integrated chain mechanism, making the technical element part of the design itself. The semicircular base is designed to slide easily beneath armchairs and sofas, adding to the table’s practical flexibility. Its name refers to the alphanumeric code associated with Eileen Gray and Jean Badovici, and also recalls the modernist house designed by Gray in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin between 1926 and 1929.
