Production Memphis Milano

€15.000,00

Display cabinet designed by Ettore Sottsass for Memphis Milano, 2000.

Part of the Mobili Lunghi collection, presented at the Post Design Gallery in 2000, Padma transforms the display cabinet into a small architectural structure. Its vertical glass body is supported by a base in yellow aniline-stained maple and completed by a matching capital, bringing together transparency and colour in a composition that suggests the form of a miniature tower. Brass shelf supports and an internal halogen light emphasise its display function, giving it a luminous, sculptural presence. Produced under the Post Design label, launched by Memphis in 1997 for its later editions, it retains Sottsass’s distinctive narrative language.
