Product Details
Chair designed by Tom Dixon for Cappellini, 1991.
The S-Chair began as an artisanal concept and went on to become one of the most recognisable forms in contemporary design. Its dark-painted metal frame supports the chair’s distinctive sinuous profile, while the wicker covering recalls the material character of the original marsh straw version. The result is a sculptural piece in which creative experimentation meets industrial techniques.
