Tobia Scarpa
Afra Bianchin and Tobia Scarpa formed one of the most important partnerships in post-war Italian design. Working across furniture, lighting, interiors and architecture, they collaborated with leading companies including Gavina, Cassina, B&B Italia, Flos and Molteni&C. Their work combines technical clarity, refined materials and a close relationship between craft, industry and function. Their architectural practice also included private residences, exhibition design and restoration projects, alongside major work for Benetton: from store and office interiors in Europe and the United States to the company’s production and management complex in Treviso. Their works are held in major museum collections around the world.
