David Palterer
Born in Haifa in 1949, David Palterer is an architect and designer who lives and works in Florence. After studying architecture, he collaborated with Adolfo Natalini before developing his own practice, spanning architecture and product design. His work explores the boundary between the rational and irrational, with a particular interest in experimentation, materials and craftsmanship. Palterer has designed for companies including Artemide, Driade and Zanotta. For Zanotta Edizioni, the brand’s experimental collection, he created limited-edition objects that brought contemporary design into dialogue with traditional craftsmanship, including works in Murano glass.
