Gregory Tew

Gregory Tew is an American architect, industrial designer and educator whose practice spans lighting, interiors, architecture and product design. Trained at Mississippi State University and Pratt Institute, he founded Gregory Tew Design in 1986. His academic career has included teaching at Montana State University, Washington State University, Winthrop University and Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, he chaired the Interior Design programme from 2004 to 2012 and later directed professional and industry relations, strengthening connections between design education and professional practice. His work includes the award-winning Grifo light for Artemide.
