Michele De Lucchi

Born in Ferrara in 1951, Michele De Lucchi is an Italian architect and designer, and has been a leading figure on the international creative scene over the last five decades. After graduating in architecture in Florence in 1975, he engaged with Radical Design, Studio Alchimia and Cavart before moving to Milan, where his encounter with Ettore Sottsass led to his involvement with Memphis and a long collaboration with Olivetti. His practice spans product design, corporate identity, interiors and architecture, from his work with Artemide to projects such as the Peace Bridge in Tbilisi and Pavilion Zero for Expo Milano 2015. In 2018, he was guest editor of Domus, an international reference point for architecture, design and contemporary culture.
