Novello Finotti, born in Verona in 1939, is an Italian sculptor working between Sommacampagna and Pietrasanta. Trained at the Accademia Cignaroli, he began exhibiting in the late 1950s and soon gained international recognition. He took part in the Venice Biennale in 1966 and 1984, and exhibited in New York, Milan, Tokyo and leading European institutions. In 1972 he met Dino Gavina, with whom he developed significant design projects. His practice spans sculpture, furniture and monumental works in marble and bronze.
