Born in 1956, Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni is a leading figure in contemporary international design. After graduating in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, he founded Lissoni Associati with Nicoletta Canesi in 1986. His work spans architecture, interiors, product design and art direction, and he has collaborated with B&B Italia, Cappellini, Cassina, De Padova, Flos, Kartell and Knoll. Known for a refined approach based on elegance and careful attention to detail, Lissoni has created furniture, interiors and architectural projects around the world. His numerous honours include the Compasso d’Oro Lifetime Achievement Award.
