Bureau Chairs
Andrea Salvetti
Production Dilmos
Set of four chairs designed by Andrea Salvetti for Dilmos, 1999.
With their sharp profiles and cast aluminium structures finished in fired enamel, Bureau treats the chair as a graphic object. The geometric cut-outs in the backrests introduce a strong visual rhythm, turning a functional element into a decorative feature. The set comprises two white chairs and two black chairs, reflecting the sensibility of late 1990s Italian design through formal simplicity and a contemporary presence. This set is no longer in production.
Design: 1999
Dimensions: W 35 × D 48 × H 81 cm

A sculptor and designer, he founded his own workshop in 1991, personally working in the studio and developing a deep conviction in the value of craftsmanship and self-production. Over time, he has designed and built tools and machines to engage with and master materials.
