Wall light designed by Philippe Starck for Flos, 1989.

Made of amber opaline glass with a metal structure, Luci Fair has a simple geometric form that gives the piece a clear identity. The warm, diffused light enhances the material quality of the glass and contributes to a measured yet striking presence. The wall light reflects a language that is both rigorous and fluid, balancing function with formal research.

Design: 1989
Dimensions: W 30 × D 14 × H 14 cm

Philippe Starck

Born in Paris in 1949, Philippe Starck is a French architect and designer active in product design, interiors, and architecture. From the beginning of his career, he has developed a direct and cross-disciplinary approach to design, rejecting rigid distinctions between everyday objects and designer pieces. Starck conceives design as a democratic tool, capable of improving life through accessible, intelligent, and often provocative solutions. In his work, function, irony, and communication coexist, making the object a means to reflect on the relationship between industry, consumption, and contemporary behavior.
