Madison Floor Lamp

€5.430,00

Floor lamp designed by Aldo Cibic for Memphis Milano, 1983.

Madison is a striking floor lamp with a tall vertical silhouette and an adjustable light source. Its clean, functional geometry recalls the Bauhaus, but the bold use of form and colour places it firmly within the postmodern language of Memphis. Graphic, direct and instantly recognisable, it brings a strong decorative presence to the space.

Design: 1983
Dimensions: Ø 45 × H 200 cm

Aldo Cibic

Born in Schio in 1955, Aldo Cibic approached design as a self-taught practitioner, developing from the outset a free and experimental approach. His encounter with Ettore Sottsass in Milan marked a decisive turning point, leading him to join Sottsass Associati and, in 1981, participate in the founding of the Memphis collective. In his work, design becomes a tool for social and cultural research, aimed at creating alternative living scenarios and reflecting on behaviors, relationships, and contemporary lifestyles.
