Persian Kirman rug, hand-knotted.

The intense turquoise field is covered with a profusion of floral motifs distributed continuously across the surface, like an open garden. The border, rich with palmettes, tendrils and stylised flowers, creates an elaborate yet regular frame. In both scale and complexity, the rug belongs to the most expansive and decorative strand of the Kirman tradition.
