Table lamp designed by Perry King & Santiago Miranda for Arteluce, 1980s.

Fritz combines a polished metal body and base with a distinctive shade made from a blue disc and a curved element in white plastic that can be slightly tilted. Its carefully balanced composition brings together geometry, colour and a strong graphic presence, placing the lamp firmly within the postmodern design language.

Perry King & Santiago Miranda

Perry King

Perry King (1938–2020) and Santiago Miranda founded King Miranda Associati in Milan in 1976, after both working as consultants for Olivetti. King had trained in industrial design in the UK and contributed to projects including the Valentine typewriter and Sistema 45, while Miranda, trained in Seville, brought a strong interest in communication, image and design research.
