Pendant lamp designed by Carlo Forcolini for Nemo, 1993.

Built around a flared steel tube, the lamp has a simple vertical structure. The adjustable diffuser, made of heat-resistant plastic, allows the light to be directed with precision. The structure is finished in matte black, while the white diffuser creates a clear contrast with the rest of the piece. Out-of-production one-off piece.

Carlo Forcolini

Born in Milan in 1947, Carlo Forcolini studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1969. Between 1978 and 1984 he lived in London, where he founded Alias U.K. and served as Director of Artemide G.B. In 1979 he became one of the founding partners of Alias, later establishing Nemo in 1992 and Forcolini in 1999. His work sits at the intersection of design and cultural entrepreneurship, approaching projects as integrated production systems where industrial vision, technical quality, and formal research operate in close synergy.
